BUILDING AN EDUCATIONAL CENTER IN THE ECUADORIAN AMAZON
An EWB Ecuador project with the collaboration of the EWB Iowa professional chapter
NAPO
Piwkulin Community
In many Amazonian communities, education faces major barriers such as makeshift spaces, limited materials, and inadequate infrastructure. This project aims to build a safe and functional classroom using a combination of light steel framing and concrete for durability, along with local materials like guadua for sustainability, to provide a dignified learning environment.
This educational center will be more than just a structure, it will be a space for learning, hope, and a brighter future for an entire generation.
